Pretty girl 'Ally' is another one so deserving of a home where she can be loved. You can see the apprehension in her eyes, suggesting she may have had a past which included some harshness :( Once she knows she is safe in your care, this girl will become your best companion. Ally is house trained, fine in a crate and loves playing in the hose or sprinkler :O She is ok with most other dogs - but mostly indifferent to them as human affection is what she craves (3 Ally would do best in a quieter home with a fenced yard where she could have some quality time with her family and then maybe nap on a comfy bed. We are thankful for families who are willing to foster dogs so that we can learn more about then in order to find them the best suited homes, which is the case with Sven. Sven is a lively, intelligent, loving companion who will entertain you for hours with his goofy curiosity and energy. He responds well to treat-driven training and praise. Sven also needs a home with NO CATS and NO SMALL CHILDREN. Help us find him the perfect forever home! PIease Read Before Adopting a Chow Chow in Michigan
Chow Chow Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Chow Chow is a big furry breed whose name literally means Puffy Lion Dog. Chow Chows are loyal companion animals but can sometimes be stubborn, obstinate, and overprotective against strangers. Chow chows need to be handled by a firm master. Chow chows can be aggressive with other pets but most are good with kids. Chow chows can live in an apartment and are equally good as inside or outside dogs. Daily walks help stave off behavior problems, although Chow Chows can be resistant to exercise.
