Rescue Me ID: 17-09-12-00413Ozzie (male)

Chow Chow Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Deaf

Meet Ozzie! Ozzie was pulled from IACS. He was originally adopted out from IACS in 2005, his owner had failing health and could no longer care for Ozzie. We just couldn't say no! Ozzie is a 14 year young chow mix. He was in pretty bad shape when we rescued him and needed a lot of TLC. He is feeling and looking much better! Ozzie is a total gem and steals the hearts of everyone he meets, there is not a mean bone in his body! He has definitely lived a hard life but still loves everyone he meets and loves people. He loves to eat :) He also enjoys short walks and play and will not turn down a fluffy bed! This sweet soul is just an all around ... (Read More)joyful guy. He gives you a woof when he needs something (water, potty break a treat). Ozzie is good with dogs and cats. He is good with kids preferably older children as he is too old for littles to climb or fall on him. Ozzie is deaf but he gets along just fine! Ozzie is house trained. This sweet boy deserves to be spoiled for the rest of his life. Could you give him the life he deserves? We promise you won't be disappointed! Interested In Ozzie? Please complete an adoption form from our website www.animalhousesanctuary.org and email to AHSAdopt@gmail.com. Questions/Inquiries can be directed to Cindy at 609-992-6649. (Less)

Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Venus and Serena are a bonded pair that we are adopting together. Both of these girls are sweet as can be. Venus is on the shy side, but will warm up after you have gained her trust. Venus and Serena both enjoy just hanging out and are not overly active dogs. They are completely content with a comfy bed, some snuggles and some sun bathing opportunities. These girls came from a horrible neglect situation where their friendship helped them survive. When they were rescued, their coats were severely matted with fur and mud, causing painful pulling and sore spots. Once at the shelter, they were bathed, shaved, fed, and given a comfortable clean ... (Read More)bed. Since then, their tails have been wagging like crazy. Their hair has grown back and they are the beautiful girls they were meant to be. Both Serena & Venus have the most amazing and joyous personalities. To see them so happy, despite their first few years of misery, is heartwarming.
