Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant

Pre it's a great dog who we can no longer keep. We purchased him as a puppy and found out he had parvo the day after we brought him home so he was hospitalized then quarantined and was not socialized as a pup due to this. He is used to having room to roam as we have a large yard with invisible fence. He is territorial and protective which is the characteristic of the Great Pyrenees breed as they were herding dogs. He is loyal, lovable and playful. We want to do everything possible to find a good home for him.

Ozzie is a 14 year young chow mix. He was in pretty bad shape when we rescued him and needed a lot of TLC. He is feeling and looking much better! Ozzie is a total gem and steals the hearts of everyone he meets, there is not a mean bone in his body! He has definitely lived a hard life but still loves everyone he meets and loves people. He loves to eat :) He also enjoys short walks and play and will not turn down a fluffy bed! This sweet soul is just an all around ... (Read More)joyful guy. He gives you a woof when he needs something (water, potty break a treat). Ozzie is good with dogs and cats.
