Bebe is a 9-11 month old lab/chow mix. She is a delightful blend of black and brown which makes her look like she has a red caste. Bebe is very playful, but a little skittish and is a scaredy cat. She gets along with other dogs, but has not been exposed to cats. Bebe weighs from 50 to 60 pounds and may grow a little more. She has a sweet disposition and would make a nice pet for someone who'd like a companion on long walks or who wanted a dog that was cuddly but looked formidable. This is Josey. She should up on a farm with a litter of babies. Since then she has been spayed and became part of the farm. Apparently she has been abused in the past to where you cannot get close to her. Please dont let this make you look the other way. When she gets inside or on a leash then she can be touched and does not show one sign of danger. She needs a home on a farm ranch or something to that affect. Lola is a sweet, loving, and affectionate dog, but she does have health issues (though non were listed in the drop down box). She has just been diagnosed with having chronic skin allergies. It's worse in the summer, but according to the vet, will persist throughout the seasons. We are unable to keep up with her medical bills, with my husband having just lost his job and our just having a baby. There is no opening at our non kill shelter, and to give her to Animal Control will be ultimately signing a death warrant for her. Great personality, he was a rescue and I've had him for 4 years but he's developed a problem with biting. Today he bit one of my daughter's friends and me when I separated them. I don't want to have him put down so I'm hoping someone will take him in. He's generally friendly (prefers women sometimes doesn't like new adult men) and playful. My husband found this poor guy wandering along the road with no identification. A friend who is a dog breeder thought he looked like a chow/lab mix. I found a Black Chow living on the road of a side street. Someone abandone this poor animal and left him on the side of the road . He now stays in the woods on a blanket provided by myself . Poorley care for with madded Fur. I found him 8/19 11 p.m. I returned home to get food & water with bowls. He walks up and down the road ,back and forth always on the move. He was someones Dog ,he has a collar with no tags. He hang around with 2 others dogs we are feeding that were dumped. They are a mix, Mother and a girl pup.. Chow Chow Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Chow Chow is a big furry breed whose name literally means Puffy Lion Dog. Chow Chows are loyal companion animals but can sometimes be stubborn, obstinate, and overprotective against strangers. Chow chows need to be handled by a firm master. Chow chows can be aggressive with other pets but most are good with kids. Chow chows can live in an apartment and are equally good as inside or outside dogs. Daily walks help stave off behavior problems, although Chow Chows can be resistant to exercise.
