    Duncan was picked up as a stray in Jackson, GA he is on the quiet, shy side until he warms up to you. He needs to be vetted and we will get that done shortly. He has a gorgeous coat and bright happy smile and a stately air to him as chows do!

    Buster belonged to my elderly parents who adopted him from a rescue. He is neutered and house broke. My father passed away in Septemebr 2017, and my mom has had 2 strokes and can no longer care for him. He lived in the house with their bulldog and their cat with no issues other than being a bit bossy over the food with the other dog. He is a sweet dog. He is not for a farm as he likes to chase the livestock. He has never shown aggression toward a human. Located in the Maysville / Homer Georgia area (North East Ga)

    Kota is a five year old mixed breed female dog. We adopted her as a puppy and have worked hard to gain her trust and love. She has always been very skiddish and standoffish. It took her many months to come around with my husband. She has a big fear of men. We believe she was abused as a small puppy. She is losing sight in her left eye. Since having a child, her unpredictability is no longer acceptable as she's become aggressive multiple times not only with our child, but our other dogs as well. With this unpredictability, we have no option but to rehome her to give her the best shot at life because we can no longer take the risk of her ... (Read More)nature around our child and other dogs. She's extremely easy, loving and likes to just lay around all day. She would be best suited in a home where she is the only animal and a home that does not have small children present. We are asking a fee to ensure she goes to a great home. She is completely vetted over the last 5 years and is current on everything as of this year. We would love to see her either with a retired couple or an older couple due to the ease of her. She would do well in apartments or any home as she is fairly lazy. She would be content laying around all day with love from her owner. She is a big snuggle bug. We feel we have provided a wonderful life for her and it has been a very hard decision to come to, however we feel it is necessary and urgent.     Chow Chow Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Chow Chow is a big furry breed whose name literally means Puffy Lion Dog. Chow Chows are loyal companion animals but can sometimes be stubborn, obstinate, and overprotective against strangers. Chow chows need to be handled by a firm master. Chow chows can be aggressive with other pets but most are good with kids. Chow chows can live in an apartment and are equally good as inside or outside dogs. Daily walks help stave off behavior problems, although Chow Chows can be resistant to exercise.
