Hi! My name is Cooper and I'm the most loving pup you'll ever meet! I'm a 2-year-old Shepherd mix that weighs about 50 lbs and have the most beautiful red coat. I enjoy being outside and running around with other dogs, but I also love cuddling with people. I'm VERY gentle with children. I'm really smart, so I'm crate-trained and house-trained (which means no accidents)! I settle very quickly and will put myself to bed at night. So if you're looking for an easy-going pup to give you unconditional love and be your forever cuddle-buddy, then I'm your boy! I currently live in a foster home in Texas, but transport will be included in the adoption ... (Read More)fee and arranged by Rescue Road Trip if you choose to adopt! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-12-09-00172Mickey (male)

Chow Chow Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Female Dogs Only, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Mickey is a 50-pound mixed-breed brown dog in need of a new home because his owners travel for long stretches of time for work. He is very obedient and knows many commands, such as 'Sit', 'Leave it' 'Go inside' 'Go outside' 'Go to bed'. He was even trained to stay in the backyard with chickens without bothering them. He is very trainable. He plays beautifully with the neighbors' dog. There is one dog in the neighborhood that he reacts to as an intruder and will bark at him. He is a good guard dog in the house, but he loves anyone who will walk him. He is 5 years old. Mickey is not neutered, but that can be arranged.
