Chow Chow Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only.  Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Tink is such a sweet heart. Unfortunately she keeps challenging my other dogs for that 'Alpha' spot. It becoming an issue due to the fact that I just got bit. I know if wasn't on purpose but having a 4 year old it just makes me nervous that she is uncontrollable when she gets in those moods. I am looking for a new loving home with her being the only dog. She is super spoiled now and I would hope the same treatment. She isn't good in public either so could use some training. If you have kids that's fine just no toddlers. I love her to death and don't want to adopt her out but after biting me yesterday I feel that it will continue to be a ... (Read More)problem and she could potentially bite my little one due to the alpha factor that she keeps trying to prove. Please consider her if you are a loving home that wants an active dog that needs lots of social training. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-22-00495Lance (male)

Chow Chow Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: High Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Lance is a Shepherd/Chow mix who was surrendered by his owners who could no longer take care of him anymore... Unfortunately Lance was VERY scared in the shelter environment and did not pass his evaluation, he was scheduled to be destroyed. One of our volunteers had seen him during his surrender. He was a happy go lucky (ok a little TOO excited.. but he's a puppy!) doggy who was brought in by a family with a young child. When we saw he was on the list for euthanasia we couldn't let that happen! So here he is! He's about a year old and is currently in board and train where he is in training to learn his manners! He loves to play and bounce ... (Read More)around. He would make an excellent hiking and running buddy! Continued training is mandatory and provided by the rescue as he is quite excitable, and doesn't always know how to handle new situations! Interested in this young man...? Let us know! His adoption fee is $120. (Less)
